Lithuania is an EU member state with the Mediation Law (Lietuvos Respublikos Mediacijos įstatymas) adopted in 2021. The government and justice practitioners are aware of the advantages of mediation. This is a legislative proposal, not enacted law. The state plans to fund up to eight hours of mediation services regardless of participants' financial status.
